Beachfront dog beach + bar in Belmont Shore, open daily 10am-10pm, free entrance, paid public lot alongside ($2/hr). Hosts the weekly LB Salsa Sunset Sundays social on the sand. Bring a beach chair or blanket; no outside food, drinks or coolers - food and drinks sold on site. The salsa series ran at 2100 E Ocean Blvd (Cherry/Junipero end of the beach lot) as of 2023 before moving to Monty's; organizer is @salsasunsetsundays / the "LB Salsa Sunset Sundays at La Playa" Facebook group.
