Privacy
one23567 is a listings directory. It has no accounts, no logins, no advertising and no advertising trackers. Loading a page here sets no cookies and contacts no third party at all.
Effective 1 September 2026.
What we collect
- Counts of page views and actions (saves, calendar downloads, source-link clicks, questions asked), through our own first-party counter. It sets no cookies, uses no fingerprinting, stores no IP address and no identifier of any kind — each event is a bare count, a path and a timestamp.
- Name and email, only if you send them on the submit, correction or claim form. An email is required only for a venue claim, where we have to verify you.
- A one-way hash of the submitting IP address on that form, to stop spam floods. The address itself is never stored.
- The text of questions typed into the assistant, and the answer we gave, with no identifier attached, only to find gaps in our coverage. Please do not include personal details in a question.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not disclose it to anyone for their own direct marketing. There is nothing to opt out of, because we do not do it.
Kept on your device, not sent to us
Nights you save with the heart are stored in your browser’s local storage and never leave your device — we cannot see what you saved. Clearing your browser data clears them.
Third parties, and when they hear from you
Nothing below runs on a normal page view. Each one is reached only by the specific action named, and each will see your IP address the way any site you visit does. None of them is an advertising network, and none of them is given your name or your email.
- OpenFreeMap serves the map tiles, and only once you press Map view or open a venue page with a map.
- Instagram (Meta) serves the original post on the few venue pages that embed one. The embed is theirs, so Meta may recognise you there if you are signed in to Instagram — the one place on this site where a third party could connect your visit to activity elsewhere.
- Google serves reCAPTCHA on the submit form, and the star rating on venue pages that have one. Google’s terms require the rating to be fetched live rather than stored here.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Both are honoured. If your browser sends DNT or Sec-GPC, nothing you do is counted — not a page view, not a click, not a question. This is enforced on our server, so the promise holds even for a browser we never served the page to. Many sites say they cannot honour Do Not Track; we can, because the only thing to turn off is a counter we wrote ourselves.
Seeing, changing or deleting what you sent
Ask on the takedown and removal page and we will tell you what we hold from you, correct it, or delete it — including a submission and the email attached to it. No account is needed, because there are no accounts; we will simply ask enough to be sure the request is yours. We answer the same day wherever we can.
Children
This is a directory of adult nightlife and dance classes. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
The assistant
- The question box is an automated assistant and says so before you use it.
- It answers only from published listings.
- We do not ask for personal information.
Submissions and flyers
- We use an email only to follow up on that submission or claim. It is never published, sold or added to a mailing list.
- Submitted flyers are kept privately for checking the listing and are never published unless you explicitly license them for display.
- Aggregated totals (for example, how many times a venue page was viewed this month) may be shown publicly and shared with that venue. They identify nobody.
If this policy changes
The effective date at the top changes with it, and when something changes we say what changed in plain words on this page rather than quietly swapping the text. A change applies from the day it is posted and never backwards over anything already collected under the older wording.
